Mangaluru: Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI ) State Committee Member Riyaz Kadambu has challenged Riyaz Farangipet to make Ullal Number 1 as corruption is rampant in the walls of Ullal Municipality, where MLA U. T. Khader is playing on his toes.

He was addressing a protest organised by the Social Democratic Party of India Ullal City Committee in front of Ullal City Council on Thursday March 2 against corruption and demanding basic amenities in Ullal municipality. “The Congress-ruled Ullal Municipality has not provided basic amenities to the people but has also completely failed to respond to the problems of the people,” he said. He added, “Look at the seats won by our party in the local body elections held in Ullal Vidhana Sabha Constituency. Khader, MLA of the Constituency, is indulging in hate politics by
ignoring the SDPI and JD (S) Corporators and giving only grants to his party members,” he alleged.

SDPI Ullal City Committee President A. R. Abbas, Vice-President Imtiyaz Kotepura, Constituency Committee Member Shoaib Ullal, Muslim Union President Ismail, CMC Members Zarina Banu, Qamarunnisa Nizam, Rameez, Azgar, Shainaz Akram, Rukhya Iqbal and others were present.
