Mangaluru: To encourage more participation, INTACH / Art Kanara Trust has announced the extension of the deadline for submission for the ‘Under 30 Photo Story Contest’ for young photographers, photojournalists, and writers between the ages of 16 and 30. Contestants can now submit their photo essays till October 10.
The contest is meant to motivate young talents under 30 years of age and is open to participants from anywhere in India or abroad. Shortlisted contestants will be required to submit high-resolution images. Prize winners will be given awards in the name of Dr. Krishna Mohan (‘Krishi’) of Moodabidri, a surgeon and an eminent photographer who passed away on January 11, 2022. About Rs. 50,000 will be distributed as prize money for the award. An exhibition of the prize-winning photo series will also be held in the City.
