Mangaluru: MLA and Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly U. Khader, demanded that miscreants who make provocative statements for political gains and trade and cause distrust, hatred, murder and untoward incidents in the society should be deported.
Speaking at a press conference on Sharan Pumpwell’s publicly provocative statement, he said that appropriate action should be taken against anyone who makes such a statement. Sharan Pumpwell’s statement on the Fazil case in Surathkal requires a re-investigation, he noted.
“If the Congress comes to power, all such cases in the state will be re-investigated, he said.
