Mangaluru: Drug peddling case, three more arrested

Mangaluru: City police arrested three more persons in connection with the drug peddling case.

The arrested have been identified as Adhun Dev, a native of Cochin, Harsha Kumar, a native of Tumakuru and Mohammad Afrar (23), of Kasava Bengre who works at a fruit shop.

Police informed that the arrest was made on the charges of consuming and peddling drugs.

The Mangaluru City Officers arrested ten persons, including a citizen of Indian origin, a medical surgeon and a medical officer, on allegations of using and selling cannabis. They also seized 2 kg of the illegal drug on Wednesday, January 11. Four of the ten people detained were women.
