Mangaluru: The body of Mohammad Fazil, who was killed by miscreants in Surathkal in the City last night, has been handed over to his family after postmortem and last rites has been conducted.
The body first reached Fazil’s house in Mangalapete here in an ambulance. From there, the body was taken on foot to The Muhiuddin Mosque in Mangalapete. There was a provision for public viewing.
Thousands of people were gathered in the mosque premises. Tight security arrangements have been made at the spot.
It can be recalled here that last night, when Mohammed Fazil was coming out of the shop after meeting a friend who was working in a cloth shop in Mooda Market of Surathkal, four miscreants who came in a car hacked him to death
