Mangaluru: A teenage girl, who was under the care of the Childline care center here, reportedly went missing on Saturday July 16.

The 15-year-old girl, Inchara, who is of Delhi descent, fled the Shivabagh centre. She has been untraceable ever since stated the complaint filed at Kadri Police Station.

According to sources, Inchara came to Mangaluru a few days ago to look for her older brother. She was found roaming around the railway station. The Railway Police handed her over to the Childline facility since she couldn’t communicate properly.

She jumped over the care facility’s compound wall and escaped when no one was noticing on Saturday.

Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
