Mangaluru: An order issued by the District Administration on Wednesday December 21 states that the government will bear the medical expenses of cooker blast victim Purushotham Poojary.
He is receiving medical care while his daughter’s wedding is only two months away.
The incident happened a month ago, and the family has still not received any compensation from the government.
Mohammad Sharique, the suspect in the cooker explosion incident who was also injured, was recently transferred to Bengaluru. Purushotham continues to receive treatment at a hospital in the City.
