Mangaluru: Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot arrived at Mangaluru International Airport, Bajpe on Thursday August 25 on his way to Udupi, as he has set out on a tour to the District.
Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje accompanied the Governor. Minister for Energy, Kannada and Culture and District In-charge V. Sunil Kumar, Mangaluru Mayor Premananda Shetty, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Rajendra K. V. and Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Dr. Kumar accorded warm welcome to the Governor on the occasion. The Governor then proceeded to Udupi by road.
Commissioner of Police Shashi Kumar, Superintendent of Police Rishikesh Bhagwan Sonawane, Mangaluru City Corporation Commissioner Akshy Sridhar, Additional Deputy Commissioner Krishnamurthy and other District-level officials and public
representatives too were present.
