Mangaluru: In an accident that occurred on NH 66 at Kallapu, a man died after being crushed by the truck while crossing the road on Saturday September 3.
The deceased has been identified as Niyaz Bava (51), resident of Bengre. As part of his daily routine, he was crossing the road to attend duty when he was hit by speeding truck that was coming from the Kerala end. He died on the spot.
Mangaluru South Traffic Police has registered case against the driver.
