Mangaluru: The Vittal Police on Thursday November 24 arrested two persons and seized a vehicle involved in illegal cow smuggling, at Bolanthur under Vittal Police Station limits of Bantwal Taluk in the District.
The accused have been identified as Saheb Bari Nagri and Pradeep Sequeira.
Vitla Police Station staff, who were on patrol, seized the vehicle which was transporting cattle illegally and arrested the two accused.
It is learnt that there were four cattle in the vehicle and they have been rescued.
