Mangaluru: Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) State President D. K. Shivakumar were on their way to the Prajadhvani Yatra to be held at Mangala Stadium in City. Shivakumar was accorded a grand welcome by Congress General Secretary Inayat Mulki near NIT – K.

Two JCBs parked on either side of the road showered flowers on the yatra vehicle. Inayat Ali was made to sit on his shoulders by the activists and cheered.
Siddaramaiah and D. K. Shivakumar waved at the party workers and moved forward. Inayat Ali’s supporters on hundreds of bikes and cars welcomed the party leaders in a grand manner.
ACP Mahesh Prasad and Surathkal Sub-Inspectie Puneet Gaonkar made the security arrangements.
