Mangaluru: JDS General Secretary Sushil Noronha passes away

Mangaluru: General Secretary and Spokesperson of JD (S) Sushil Noronha passed away due to cardiac arrest on Friday January 13.

He was 60 years old and is from Kulshekar. A electrical contractor by profession, he was active in a number of social and pious organizations. He was the Past Secretary of Mangalore Diocesan Pastoral Parishad and also the Honorary President of St. Christopher Association in Mangaluru.

JD(S) State spokesperson M B Sadashiva expressed condolences and said “Sushil, had been loyally involved in the Janata Party and the Janata Dal for many years. He was elected as the state secretary in the recently held state committee elections of the contractors. He had fought hard during the Church attack  in the  past. He had made a name for himself as the party’s district spokesperson. He had a dream of becoming a candidate in the upcoming elections. May his soul rest in peace”.

He was in touch as a link between Bishop’s house and Janata party.

Sushil Noronha was the husband of Edna Noronha, father of Angelo Noronha, son of Stella and Late Joseph Noronha, brother of Advocate M. P. Noronha from Kulshekar.

His body will be cremated after the arrival of his son, who is employed abroad.
