Mangaluru: Shifaz, who has been arrested in connection with the murder of a jewellery staff at Hampanakatte in City, is said to have planned a robbery next in Kasaragod.
Kasaragod Police has received information that he had planned to carry out the crime in Kasaragod on the lines of Mangaluru. He had reached Kasaragod after committing the crime in Mangaluru. He had gone to a fancy shop in the City and other places, the footage of which has been recorded in CCTV.
At the time of his arrest, an air pistol, pepper spray and a wig were found in his bag.
Kasaragod Police, who noticed his movements, took him into custody from the premises of Mallikarjuna Temple in the City and during interrogation, he revealed about the murder in Mangaluru, Police said.
