Mangaluru: Police officers have arrested a man for allegedly transporting ganja in Talapady Thacchani.
The arrested accused has been identified as Mohammed Razik of Manjeshwar Sunkadakatte. Asgar, another suspect, is still absconding.
According to sources, the accused travelled to Talapady Thacchani to sell ganja.
The accused’s bike was stopped by Ullal police after they received a tip-off. However, Asgar was able to escape.
Police seized 4kg of ganja worth Rs. 40,000 from the accused.
