Mangaluru: Man locked, robbed by father-in-law

Mangaluru: A case has been registered at the Moodabidri Police Station by Attur Naseeb, a resident of Prantya Village, for allegedly being robbed by his relatives when he returned to his house after enquiring about his mother’s health in Uppinangady in Moodabidri Taluk, of the District.

When Naseeb visited his mother and returned to Prantya Village on November 11, his father-in-law Ismail, Todaru Shareef and four others allegedly were stealing the TV, DVD, 3-AC, 1 sofa set, dining table, fridge, washing machine, passbook, cheque book and other items from the house of Attur Naseeb.

Attur Naseeb, who had gone to stop the act, was verbally abused, locked up in a room and household items were looted, the complaint stated.
