Mangaluru: A devotee of Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatha Swami travelled 360 kilometres from Jigani to Dharmasthala on foot along with a calf.
According to sources, Shreyansh Jain, a native of Hirebail in Kalasa and a lover of cattle, is the devotee.
He started dairy farming during the pandemic and raised a cow of the native Gir breed. Then he decided to offer the cow’s first calf to Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala and travelled 360 km on foot.
Shreyansh is a former student of SDM institutions, is now working for a company in Bengaluru and is also engaged in dairy farming.
