Mangaluru: The judicial custody of all the accused, who were arrested and remanded in judicial custody in connection with the case of Kalanja’s Masood, who died after being beaten to death by a mob, has been extended.
A case of murder has been registered against Abhilash, Sunil K., Sudheer, Shivaprasad, Ranjith B., Sadashiva Poojary, Ranjith and Bhaskar K. M. in connection with Masood’s murder. The arrested accused were in judicial custody.
Now, the judge extended the judicial custody till August 29 when the accused were produced before the court again as their judicial custody expired on Wednesday August 17.
