Mangaluru: Parts of the Kodagu-Dakshina Kannada districts’ bordering regions felt tremors on Sunday August 14. However, no damage has been reported.
According to sources Residents of Sullia Taluk’s Kalmakaru, Mentekaje, Gulikana, and Kallugundi districts first felt the tremors at around 6.30 pm.
People ran from their houses out of fear when they felt the tremor and heard loud noises.
The continuous tremors are causing alarm among those already affected by landslides, floods, and heavy rain.
