Mangaluru: Minister for Social Welfare and Backward Classes Welfare Kota Srinivas Poojary visited the Bantwal Government Hospital and conducted a blood pressure test on Saturday March 18 at around 10.30 am. The Minister, who was on his way to Bengaluru, went to Bantwal Government Hospital, stood in a queue as usual and got his blood pressure checked by a doctor.

Administrative Medical Officer Dr. Pushpalatha came to the office and requested him to get tested, but he refused the request and got himself tested along with the patients.

He was on his way to attend an urgent meeting in Bengaluru, when he developed a headache and went to a Government Hospital on the way.

For the past few days, he has been suffering from headaches due to the stress of continuous programmes and lack of proper sleep.

The doctors conducted an examination and said that the blood pressure was normal.
