Mangaluru: Bhargavi, a 14-year-old girl who went missing after leaving her home in Bengaluru has been found in Goa.
Bhargavi’s family members confirmed that she was found in Panaji, Goa. Bhargavi, a 14-year-old resident of Mahalaxmi Layout in Bengaluru, has gone missing on the evening of Monday October 17 when she went missing. She had left home saying that she is going for tuitions.
She had touched Mangaluru too. As per CCTV and witnesses, she had gone to Mukka Beach near Panambur in an autorickshaw in the wee hours of the morning October 18 and later came to the KSRTC bus stand in an autorickshaw. One had no idea where she had gone after that.
Mangaluru Police had also launched a search and by evening of Wednesday October 19, Panaji Police traced the girl and the girl is currently in the custody of Panaji Police, Bengaluru Police has stated.
Meanwhile MLA B. Vedavyas Kamath has urged the public to be extra cautious and be alert if small children are found roaming without guardian as a social responsibility.
