Mangaluru: Amid the Hindu-Muslim communal conflict that erupts frequently in the Coastal areas, an incident of harmony beyond religion is going viral on social media.

A photo of a Muslim man crossing the road holding the hand of an Ayyappa Vratadhari little boy has gone viral on social media, showing that there is no religion above humanity.

In a bizarre incident, a message of Hindu-Muslim harmony was spread at Kallugundi in Sampaje in Sullia Taluk of the District. Ibrahim Mailikallu, an elderly Muslim man, was walking on the road when he came across an Ayyappa Vratadhari boy in front of him. When he was trying to cross the road, Ibrahim grabbed his hand and crossed the road. He also took him to a fruit shop and bought him fruits and vegetables. Ibrahim’s move has been widely appreciated on social media.
