Mangaluru: NIA raids SDPI National Secretary’s home in Bantwal

Mangaluru: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raid on Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) National Secretary Riyaz Farangipet’s house in Parlia near Kaikamba of Bantwal in Dakshina Kannada District on Thursday September 8.

The NIA Police checked the documents related to SDPI leader Riyaz during the raid. Opposing the raid SDPI men staged protest. SDPI activists said it is politically motivated raid to exploit Muslim community.

It can be recalled here that NIA had conducted similar raids in 33 locations of the District in connection with the murder case of BJP Leader Praveen Nettaru.
