Mangaluru: “Hindu activists did not attack the pub in the City. They only questioned the manager and bouncer of the pub as to whether they were serving alcohol to minor students, said Mangaluru North MLA Dr. Bharath Shetty
Speaking to mediapersons on Tuesday July 26, he said, “I have discussed this with the commissioner. The pub staff too is investigating the incident and the truth will come out. Alcohol and cigarettes are not available to minors in pubs or bars, he said.
Shetty said, “Providing intoxicants to others is a crime according to the law. If bars and pubs violate it, such incidents will happen. Civil society should be careful to prevent this from happening,” he noted.
