Ocean Pearl Hotels Pvt. Ltd already has three branches in the State. They are The Ocean Pearl, Mangalore, The Ocean Pearl, Udupi and The Ocean Pearl Inn, Mangalore. Now the company is proud to open their 4th branch. With the inauguration of their new hotel in Ujire on September 30, they have added a new crown to the management of luxury hotels.
Located near Dharmasthala which is famous for its religious tourism, the Ocean Pearl will now open its new hotel near Lalita Nagara in Ujire Town, an yet another diamond on its crown. It is a 3-storey luxury hotel with 34 rooms (near SDM College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences). There are 34 rooms, 31 suite rooms, 2 suite rooms and 1 president suite room.

It is owned by Shashidhar Shetty, a native of Belthangady. He is an influential entrepreneur recognised in the food service (catering) industry with more than three decades of experience and expertise. He is the MD and Chairman of Shashi Catering Services Private Limited. He also runs canteens of well-known industrial conglomerates spread across 12 states of the country.
Ocean Pearl Hotel Ujire’s Hospitality is a joint venture of two giants in the hotel industry. With the combined experience of Jayaram Banan and Shashidhar Shetty of 75 years, Ocean Pearl will be launched in Ujire.
