Mangaluru: Chittapur MLA and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Campaign Committee President Priyank Kharge, has distributed Rs. 1 lakh cheque to family of the police who died by heart attack while on duty.
The deceased, Hanumantha was a resident of Panambur Police quarters, died while on duty at Kavoor Police Station. He was a native of Bagalakote.
Former MLA Moideen Bava, Surathkal Block Congress President Umesh Dandekeri, Gurupura Block Congress President Surendra Kambali, Former Deputy mayor Basheer Baikampady, KPCC Minority Cell Organising Secretary Haris Baikampady, Sharief Chokkabettu, Jaleel Badriya, SC/ST Morcha President Mallikarjun Kodikal, Aboobacker Paradise, Prahlad and others were present.
