Mangaluru: Plaint filed after Gram Panchayat member goes missing

Mangaluru: A woman member of the Subrahmanya Gram Panchayat has gone missing, stated a police complaint.

According to the complaint, the missing person has been identified as Bharati Mookamal (33), the wife of Shashikanth of the Mookamale house in the village of Ainekidu.
Bharati’s husband claimed her missing on October 29 in a complaint registered at Subrahmanya Police Station.

Bharati reportedly left the house on October 29 and never came back. Her mobile phone was unreachable.

The complaint stated that she was untraceable even after inquiring about her whereabouts with her friend and relatives.

Meanwhile, the police have launched an investigation.
