Mangaluru: Bantwal Town Police arrested a man in connection with the case that took place at a shop in B Mooda village here on August 7 and recovered the stolen property in his possession.
The arrested accused has been identified as Mohammed Irfan, a resident of Golithottu village.
The shopkeeper Rajaram alleged the theft of two mobile phones worth Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 10,000 in cash.
Irfan was allegedly also involved in a house break-in that was reported in the Golithottu village within the Uppinangady police limits earlier in December, informed the police.
