Mangaluru: Police bust prostitution racket, 4 held

Mangaluru: Police said that they busted a prostitution racket operating from a rented house in the City’s Ulllal Taluk.

Four persons, including a couple, were detained in connection to this, said police.

According to sources, the house was raided based on a tip-off. They said that the four were produced before the local court and remanded.

The main suspect in the case previously operated a similar racket in the towns of Kapikad and Pilar, and one of the suspects used to send young girls to the clients. The police reported that some of the girls who were inside the house at the time of the operation have been rescued.
