Mangaluru: Drugs worth over Rs. 1 Crore were destroyed as part of the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking in the City Police Commissionerate limits.
The total quantity of ganja weighing 580.860 kgs in 15 police stations of Mangaluru City Police Commissionerate limits worth Rs. 1,16 ,17,200, heroin 25 grams worth Rs. 1,37,500.
A total of Rs. 1,28,74,700 worth of drugs, including 320 grams of MDMA worth Rs. 11,20,000 were destroyed under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner of Police Hariram Shankar.
