Mangaluru: Police search, seal PFI offices in City

Mangaluru: The State police searched and sealed all of the Popular Front of India’s (PFI) and Campus Front of India’s (CFI) offices in the city following the ban.

As many as 10 PFI offices, 1 CFI office and 1 information and empowerment office were sealed by the police.

The offices in Kasaba Bengre, Chokkabettu, Katipalla, Adoor, Kinnipadav, K C Road, Inoli, Mallur, Nellikai road, Kudroli, Azizuddin Road Bunder, and Rao and Rao Circle were raided by the police.

The implementation of the ban has been delegated to the State Government by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs. Deputy Commissioners and Police Commissioners have been given permission by the State Government to implement the ban.
