Mangaluru: A cash reward for information about two suspects allegedly involved in the death of a BJP youth wing leader has been announced by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), which is investigating the case.
The NIA has announced Rs. 5 lakh each for sharing any information on Mohammed Sherif (53) of Kodaje in Bantwal Taluk and K. A. Masud (40) of Nekkiladi, who were both members of the now-banned Popular Front of India (PFI).
Miscreants killed Praveen Nettaru on July 26 at night, outside his poultry shop in Bellare, Dakshina Kannada District.
According to the NIA, informers’ identities will be kept confidential. Anyone with information on this can contact the NIA office in Bengaluru.
