Mangaluru: The State Government has appointed IAS Officer Ravi Kumar M. R. as the new Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada District.
He will take up the responsibilities of Dr. Kumara, who was given additional responsibility following the transfer of the former DC, Dr. Rajendra K. V.
Ravi Kumar is an IAS of Karnataka cadre of the 2012 batch and has been serving as the Registrar of RGUHS.
Transfers of Karnataka-trained IAS officers were announced by the department of personnel and administrative reforms.
