Mangaluru: In a tragic incident, a bike rider died in a road accident after his two-wheeler collided with a goods tempo at the Kudmani minor bridge near Koyila in the Bantwal Taluk on the afternoon of Tuesday October 25.
The deceased has been identified as Dinesh Semita (32), son of Gunapala Semita, a resident of Barke, Tenka Mijaru.
According to sources, Dinesh was moving from Moodabidri to Bantwal when he collided head-on with an oncoming good tempo. He sustained head injuries and bled to death on spot.
The Melkar Traffic Police inspected the spot and further investigation is on.
