Mangaluru: The members of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) took out a massive ‘Vijyadashami Path Sanchalan’ (Vijayadashami route march), on Sunday morning in Mangaluru. This is the first RSS march after the introduction of the new uniform.
The event which was flagged off from Nehru Maidan, culminated at Nehru Maidan after passing through Nellikai Road, Mukhyaprana Temple, Car Street, Sharavu Temple, Ganapathi High School and Clock Tower.
As per sources, a total of 1,291 Rashtriya Swayam Sevaks took part in the event. Mangaluru Pranth co-convenor P Vamana Shenoy, Mangaluru Mahanagara Sangha Sanchalak Dr Satish Rao and Saha Sangha Sanchalak Sunil Acharya, MLC capt Ganesh Karnik and Monappa Bhandary also took part in the route march.
