Mangaluru: Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has begun to have an age-related frenzy. So he doesn’t understand the difference between nationalism and terrorism,” said MLA Vedavyas Kamath.

Taking a dig at Siddaramaiah for repeatedly making derogatory remarks about the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh ( RSS), MLA Kamath asked why he did not have the courage to speak about the recent arrest of the Congress leader’s son by the NIA for having links with terrorists. Siddaramaiah has forgotten that the Congress had paid homage in Parliament on the death of revered Guruji, a Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh( RSS). During the Indo-China war, Sangh volunteers cooperated with the soldiers. That is why the then Prime Minister allowed the Sangh’s march at Rajpath, he added.

“All leaders, including Siddaramaiah, have been promoting bigotry for the security of the minority vote bank which has lost faith in the Congress Party. The Congress Party is becoming a menace to the country and people are watching it closely,” Kamath said.

“Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President D. K. Shivakumar or Siddaramaiah, who has been soft on the cooker bomb blast terrorist, should put before the people their stand on the issue of arrest of family members of Former MLAs who were nabbed by NIA officials and the arrest of the son of a Congress Leader in connection with terror activities a few days ago,” Kamath said.
