Mangaluru: A traffic police was injured after being hit by a speeding car in the City.
The injured has been identified as Lokesh. According to sources, a man named Mohammed Iqbal is said to have driven the car.
Lokesh was conducting regular vehicle inspections in the City when he observed a speeding car. The driver allegedly hit Lokesh over his signal to stop going too fast.
He chased the car, but the driver allegedly stepped on the accelerator and fled, injuring him.
Lokesh, who was injured, is being treated at a nearby hospital.
The car has been seized and police officers are searching for the driver.
