Mangaluru: A statue of Jesus installed on a Government land near St. John’s Church at Allipade near Sarpadi in Bantwal Taluk of the District has been removed.
A statue of Jesus was installed on Government land which was enclosed.
A Hindu organisation of Sarpadi Zone had lodged a complaint with the Taluk Magistrate in this regard and demanded that it needs to be cleared within a week.
The complaint now is followed by the removal of the statue.
