Mangaluru: State Election Commission, District Administration, Zilla Panchayat, and Taluk Sveep Committee created awareness about voting through street play performance and folk songs at the bus stand of the town.
The importance of voting, about voting without falling victim to any temptations, what kind of candidate should be selected before voting, and the precautionary measures to be taken by voters in case of temptations were discussed.
Mangaluru Taluk Panchayat Executive Officer Lokesh, Saint Agnes College National Service Scheme Officer Dr. Udaya Kumar, Sveep officers Tejakshi and Dombayya Idkidu were present.
Students of Women’s First Grade College, Balmatta and St. Agnes created awareness through street plays.
