Mangaluru: The heat wave continued to prevail in both the Coastal Districts on Monday February 27. Though it was foggy in some parts of rural areas in the early hours of the morning, the temperature increased as the day rose.
Dakshina Kannada District Health Officer said that people need to take extra care of their health as the heat is increasing and it is better to avoid exposure to the midday sun as much as possible.
The day’s maximum temperature in City on Monday February 26 was 36.4 degree Celsius and a minimum of 22.3 degree Celsius, Met Department stated.
