Mangaluru: An interstate thief has been arrested by police and they have recovered goods worth Rs 2.5 lakh from his possession.
The arrested accused has been identified as Muhammad K.U. (42) a resident of Varambil, Alakodu Village in Kannur District.
According to sources, police seized goods worth Rs. 2.5 lakh including gold jewellery and a motorcycle.
He allegedly stole items from several places, including the Konaje, Vittal, Bantwal, and Punjalkatte regions.
As per the reports, over 120 theft cases have been filed against him in Kerala.
