Mangaluru: Traffic cop take chairs as bribe for breaking law

Mangaluru: Two traffic cops took chairs from a vendor after he illegally carried a stack of two dozen plastic chairs on his motorcycle. The rider was not wearing a helmet. The incident happened on Friday December 30 at around 1.45 pm in Gorigudda Junction.

Two traffic cops, who noticed the vendor stopped him. Later, one of the cops reportedly negotiated with the vendor. After handing over two chairs to the cop, the vendor took off with his chairs.

It is unknown who is involved or how much the chairs are worth. It is only known that a police officer and a traffic violator reached a cashless agreement.
