Mangaluru: Police arrested four persons for transporting drugs in a car near Tadugoli in the village of Naringana.
The arrested accused have been identified as Iqbal (30) of Adyar Katte-Valachchil, Mohammad Aziz (33) of Ashoknagar-Kodikal, Moidin Hafeez (36) and Mohammad Siraj (43) of Naringana village.
According to sources, the accused had MDMA and ganja worth Rs. 2 lakh.
The accused were transporting drugs from Bengaluru to Naringana.
Based on credible information, a team led by Konaje PSI Sharanappa stopped the Maruti Alto the accused were driving on Saturday night and recovered the drugs hidden inside.
