Mangaluru: A man working a tyre died after sustaining serious injury following a tyre mould disc blast.
The deceased has been identified as Rajesh (46), a resident of Alankaru village in Kadaba Taluk.
According to sources, the tyre mould disc accidentally blasted when he was standing next to it.
Rajesh was seriously injured and was rushed to the hospital. However, he died on the way to the hospital.
A case has been filed at the local police station based on a complaint made by the victim’s brother-in-law.
