Mangaluru: Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s Karnataka Southern Region Coordinator Sunil K. R. has urged the Home Minister Araga Jnanendra to immediately suspend the officers who ordered lathi-charge on innocent people during Praveen’s funeral on Wednesday July 27.

Addressing a press conference in the City, he said that the Police Department has failed to trace the accused even after two days of Praveen’s murder and hence the VHP and Bajrang Dal have urged Chief Minister to constitute a Special Investigation Team (SIT) and investigate the case under the leadership of an efficient officer, he said.

“Also, on Wednesday the Police lathi-charged innocent people, which was unheard anytime earlier,” he added.
