Mangaluru: When Oscar Fernandes was Union Cabinet Minister for Transport, Road and Highways, why didn’t these tollgate protestors agitate and demand to cancel toll, questioned MP and State BJP President Nalin Kumar Kateel.
Speaking to mediapersons on Tuesday November 1, Kateel said those who are agitating today, why they did not make an appeal when Oscar Fernandes was a Union minister. He reiterated that in this Democratic country, everyone has the right to fight and we have no objection to it.
Nalin added that those who did not fight when the Congress Government was in power are now protesting, and creating a political drama when Union Minister Nitin Gadkari himself has replied to the issue of clearing the toll gate stating that the toll will be cleared as per the rules.
