Mangaluru: In the name of elections, the Government has taken back my security personnel. Satyajit Surathkal, a leader of the Hindu outfit, said, “If anyone killed me, the BJP State President Nalin Kumar Kateel and Sangh Parivar leaders will be held responsible for it.

Speaking at a press conference on Friday April 21, he said that since there was a threat to my life, it was the police who provided security personnel. The personnel, who had been there for 16 years, have now been taken back on the pretext of elections. They have given a free hand to my enemies to kill me. The revolver is also removed, he noted.

Home Minister told Sangh Parivar leaders about it, but to no avail. “The threat came because of my work for Hindutva and in the interest of the nation and not for my personal matters. I am not afraid of anything. This is being done in an attempt to silence me for speaking out against the system. But I will continue to fight. There is no political desire. If I am killed, no leader of the Sangh Parivar should come to pay their last respects or take out a funeral procession,” he said.
