Mangaluru: A grand celebration of Kannada Rajyotsava unfolded at the central grounds in Mangaluru. The honor of inaugurating the Kannada Rajyotsava festivities by hoisting the national flag was performed by Dakshina Kannada district in-charge minister Dinesh Gandurao. The event witnessed the presence of notable figures like Assembly Speaker U T Khader, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, and others.
Subsequently, Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao was accorded a guard of honor. While addressing the assembled audience, Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao emphasized, Considerable focus is being directed towards enhancing the state of the education sector. Numerous initiatives are underway to enhance the quality of Kannada schools. Measures have been initiated to appoint permanent teachers in government schools, with a primary emphasis on filling the vacant teaching positions in rural schools.
Following the event, a total of 46 distinguished individuals were recognized and honored with District Rajyotsava Awards for their exceptional contributions in diverse domains. Additionally, 17 organizations that have made significant contributions across various sectors were also presented with District Rajyotsava awards.
