Kadaba: A horrifying incident shook the campus of Kadaba Government Pre-University College in town as a masked youth entered the premises and carried out an acid attack on three female students. The assailant, identified as Abin (23) from Kerala, has been apprehended by the police and is currently in custody.
The victims of the attack, Alina Sibi, Archana, and Amritha, were immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment. While one of the girls sustained severe burn injuries, the other two suffered minor injuries. The motive behind this appalling act is suspected to be connected to a love failure.
Abin, a resident of Nelambur taluk in Mallapuram district and a student pursuing an MBA, executed the attack on the unsuspecting students. It is noteworthy that one of the critically injured victims also hails from Kerala and is enrolled in the second PU science stream.
Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation to uncover the full extent of the assailant’s motives and ensure justice for the victims.
