Mangaluru: All businessmen and traders under Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) limits are mandated to renew their trade licenses from MCC by the end of this financial year. Those starting new businesses or ventures are required to apply for a license before the commencement of their business.
The mandate comes in the wake of certain businesses continuing to function despite the expiry of their licenses, including new businesses that are operating without appropriate authorisation.
Trade licenses can be procured, renewed, and canceled/dissolved using MCC Trade license mobile application or through http:// mcctradelicense.com:4400/Web. For more information contact, 6364016555
MCC Commissioner Akshy Shridhar in a press release has stated that all the traders are hereby informed to renew their licenses or apply for new ones before December 15, 2021. Also, it is urged to consider the press release as the final notice. Failure to comply will lead to cancellation/dissolution of the trade licenses of such businesseses without prior notice, release added.
