Mangaluru: Two Muslim youth who were stranded in Kuwait returned to their homeland after persistent efforts of Mangaluru South MLA D Vedavys Kamath. Now, the two have come forward to seek support for Kamath.

The youth Irfan and Aboobakar have posted a video on social media claiming that the quick response of Vedavyas Kamath helped them return home safely. The two then have requested voters to support the candidates who are backed by Kamath in the upcoming MCC polls.

“When we posted a video and spoke about our predicaments, MLA Kamath quickly responded to our plea and took all essential measures to bring us back. As MCC election is being held, there are several candidates who are being supported by Kamath. We request voters to stand by those candidates,” the two said.

It can be noted that over 30 youths who were stranded in Kuwait owing to their VISA issue a few months ago too had been helped by Kamath.
